RBT Clinician — BCBA Development Track
RCG Behavioral Health Network
Full-Time and Part-Time Opportunities
RBT Clinician turned Clinical Supervisor (click on the link)
Are you an experienced Registered Behavior Technician pursuing BCBA certification who is working on a master’s degree or has already earned one? RCG Behavioral Health Network is seeking an RBT Clinician who wants to strengthen their clinical skills, support fellow therapists, and take the next step in their career.
This position combines direct ABA therapy services with clinical support and peer mentoring under the direction of a BCBA. You’ll help children and young adults build meaningful skills while gaining experience in treatment implementation, data review, staff coaching, and other assigned clinical activities.
Learn From an Experienced Clinical Team
The quality of mentorship matters when you’re preparing to become a BCBA. Clinicians entering the profession may receive training from supervisors who are still early in their own careers, and opportunities for hands-on learning can vary across programs.
At RCG, you’ll learn alongside a BCBA team with 60 years of combined experience through in-person, hands-on training and mentorship. You’ll observe clinical practices, apply what you’re learning, and receive direct feedback while working with clients and fellow team members.
Our approach is designed to build a deeper understanding of ABA, strengthen your clinical judgment, and support your preparation for the BCBA examination and future practice.
Available Schedules
Full-time: Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
Part-time evenings: Monday through Friday, 3:30–7:30 p.m.
Additional evening hours may be available to full-time employees who choose to work them.
No Saturday therapy is required.
Your Role
The RBT Clinician helps translate the supervising Behavior Analyst’s treatment plans into consistent daily practice. You’ll provide direct services, model established interventions, and help therapists implement programs effectively across individual sessions and small-group activities.
Responsibilities
Provide individual and group ABA therapy services according to approved treatment plans.
Model effective teaching, reinforcement, prompting, and behavior-support strategies for therapists and RBTs.
Provide peer coaching and help new team members practice established clinical procedures.
Observe treatment implementation and share feedback and concerns with the supervising BCBA or BCaBA.
Support skill development, social interaction, group participation, and transitions within assigned pods.
Review client data for completeness, summarize observations, and flag changes or barriers for the supervising clinician.
Prepare client-specific teaching materials and organize resources needed to implement approved programs.
Assist with assigned assessment preparation, clinical summaries, and caregiver-training materials under BCBA direction.
Complete accurate, timely session notes, behavioral data, and other required documentation.
Participate in case reviews, supervision meetings, and professional development.
Maintain client dignity, confidentiality, and safety.
The supervising BCBA retains responsibility for clinical decisions, assessment interpretation, treatment-plan approval, and formal competency evaluation. The RBT Clinician implements approved programming and brings recommendations or concerns to the supervising clinician.
BCBA Development and Fieldwork Opportunities
RCG supports employees who are preparing to become BCBAs through in-person mentorship and opportunities to complete qualifying fieldwork activities.
Assigned activities may include client-specific data analysis, treatment-integrity review, assessment support, program preparation, and staff-training support. Activities must be approved by the fieldwork supervisor and meet applicable BACB requirements before being counted toward certification.
The balance of direct therapy and clinical support responsibilities is determined by client needs, demonstrated competency, performance, and the employee’s development plan. Employees must maintain accurate fieldwork records and meet required supervision and verification requirements.
